Engineering specializing in sliding forms since 1989.
Founded on July 6, 1989 as Descon Construtora Ltda., we began our activities by building, Turn Key, Water Reservoirs, with Sliding Forms with Sets and Climbing Forms, of the most varied types — supported, elevated, in a chalice — throughout the Brazilian territory.
Our first contract as service providers for Sliding Forms with Sets came in 1990, when, given the great experience of our founders, Paranasa Engenharia Ltda. hired Descon Construtora to slide silos in the city of São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro.
Foundation of Descon Construtora Ltda. on July 6th. Start of activities with Water Reservoirs using Sliding Forms with Sets and Climbing Forms.
First contract as service providers: Silo sliding in São Gonçalo, RJ, for Paranasa Engenharia Ltda.
At the invitation of Construtora Norberto Odebrecht, first contract for Sliding Forms with Trusses at the Corumbá I Hydroelectric Plant, in Caldas Novas, Goiás. Start of large-scale development of the Sliding Forms with Trusses system.
At the invitation of Seta Engenharia, the use of Sliding Forms with Trusses in Small Hydroelectric Plants began at PCH Esmeralda.
Hired by Construtora Hidalgo e Hidalgo, from the Republic of Ecuador, for the Las Esclusas Sewage Treatment Plant. Nine low height tanks, four different diameters, completed in 6 months.
27 Hydroelectric Plants, 24 PCHs, presence in 6 countries. Exporting Brazilian pioneering, engineering and technology to the world.
At the invitation of Construtora Norberto Odebrecht, in 1993, continuing the work developed with Sliding Forms with Sets at the Cachoeira Dourada and Samuel Hydroelectric Power Plants, we signed our first contract for Sliding Forms with Trusses, at the Corumbá I Hydroelectric Plant, in Caldas Novas, Goiás. We thus began the large-scale development of the Sliding Forms with Truss system. — much more than a type of form: a process for executing the work.
With the emergence of a large number of PCHs, at the invitation of Seta Engenharia, in 2006, we began using Sliding Forms with Trusses in this segment at PCH Esmeralda.
As a result, both in the area of Hydroelectric Power Plants and Small Hydroelectric Plants, over the last 37 years the following have followed: 27 Hydroelectric Plants and 24 Small Hydroelectric Plants.
Abroad, we provide services in the Republic of Angola, the Dominican Republic, the Argentine Republic and the Republic of Venezuela, exporting Brazilian pioneering, engineering and technology.
Continuing our pioneering spirit, in 2018, we were contracted by Construtora Hidalgo e Hidalgo, from the Republic of Ecuador, to supply Sliding Forms with Trusses for the Las Esclusas Sewage Treatment Plant.
The challenge: Nine low-rise tanks (five meters high), four different diameters — from 51.00 meters to 14.00 meters — just one shape that is easily adjustable on site. Deadline: 6 months.
